De Waal Pinotage, Stellenbosch (South Africa 2006) Pinotage is unique to South Africa – the result of a 1925 crossing between Pinot Noir and Cinsault in Stellenbosch. The DeWaal family where one of the very first wineries to plant the varietal commercially, and the DeWaat Pinotage reflects an elegant, modern style with silky texture with nice smoky notes and lush brambles.
