The staff were lovely and welcoming, gorgeous Nepalese waistcoats, nice decor and for once soft unobtrusive music. We decided to go for Nepalese dishes and weren’t disappointed at all. The lamb chop and mo mo for starters were delicious and meaty, the chops with a really tasty dressing. The sizzler, number 1 chicken and the makhani Dahl a perfect main combo. Would very happily return and recommend. DeliciousCat D2021-10-19Lovely lunch in Edinburgh! Fantastic lunch at Namaste Kathmandu for my sisters birthday. Staff were so kind and decorated the plate holding the cake with a happy birthday message and played happy birthday over the speaker system. Food was fantastic and great value for money. I will definitely be back for another Chicken Tikka Masala! My only recommendation to the restaurant is to offer more than 2 prawns on the king prawn starter. I think a minimum of 3 is what you should get for the price.rochbarrett2021-09-08Great restaurant We arrived in Edinburgh earlier and were struggling to find somewhere to eat. After a frustrating two hours we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. We were starving and the food was excellent. Great service. Their house wine and cocktails are highly recommended, seriously good. Bit of a hidden gem.Katty C2021-08-28Would come back! Would absolutely recommend as the food was delicious. They helped me with vegan choices and accommodated spice levels. Would definitely recommend!
